A Very Late London Fashion Week!

Hello my lovelies! Its been a while, how are you all? Good I hope.
So as a few of you may know I was lucky enough to go down to London Fashion Week before returning to Newcastle for uni and it was amazing.
It wasn't my first Fashion Week experience as I was really really lucky to go to New York City for FW in February but the two were worlds apart. Looking back New York seemed very surreal having now been to London because it felt very exclusive and elite as security was ridiculous and there was no atmosphere. Whereas London was incredible, there were hundreds of people all at different levels within the industry and all were accepted to walk around the courtyard of Somerset house and enjoy the buzz of Fashion Week. I felt so welcome and everyone I spoke to was open and friendly and I've made quite a few good friends through the experience. If you are a fashion fanatic or a photographer or a professional people watcher I would seriously recommend going because it is just electric, usually its quiet in the mornings but it always picks up in the afternoon and there is no shortage of stylistic inspiration (I would advise however, if you are prone to shoe envy FW could ruin your life).
I didn't have any tickets to any shows as I didn't know I could go until about a week before the event and by then it was too late to apply for any tickets but I went down to do some research for a university project and some street style snaps and as you can imagine I took a billion and one photographs while I was down there so today I'm going to share them with all of you!

Saturday
My Mum came down to London on Saturday so we didn't spend very much time at FW but I'll show you some of the other pictures I took that day in another post.

Sunday

Anya Hindmarch Fashion Flakes Float! There is currently a box of Fashion Flakes in my kitchen, they look so cool.

Monday
My mocha decorated with a Holly Fulton designed print

I got into Matar's SS15 show on the Monday of FW. It was amazing, it wasn't like a traditional show there were eight dancers wearing the collection and they were just dancing around the room having the time of their lives! It was so lovely to watch, I felt honoured. Here are a few pictures but there will be a bigger post on it soon and maybe a video of it too.

 More street style

I spotted Myleene Klass, she looked gorgeous!

 Josh's cool customised bow tie:

Tuesday
Again I didn't spend very long at FW on the Tuesday because on of my best ever friends Nina travelled down to London to meet me as we hadn't seen each other in two years! So we spent the day wandering around London but here are a few of the ones I took:

So there you are! I hope you enjoyed looking at all my pictures, as you can see there were so many people and everyone looked amazing! It was so refreshing to see so many people wearing so many different styles but still looking so cool. I came away feeling so inspired from LFW, all the people I'd met and everything I'd seen has set me up perfectly for this semester and now I can't wait to get back to my work and focused on fashion again. I hope if you guys have gone back to uni or school you're feeling as excited as I am.
I really hope you enjoyed this post, who do you think looked the best? Leave me a comment below. I still have a few things from FW to show you so stay tuned! I'll see you soon my darlings.
Love Holly x
